Annie Wolter started Travel Escapades after her eighth trip to Europe and fifteen years of working from a home office convinced her there could be a more enjoyable way to make a living. With her husband Paul and ocassional co-hosts, she invites the curious to join Travel Escapades on a variety of trips to a myriad of destinations—whether domestic or international adventures.

Annie and her husband Paul have been traveling together since their late-in-life marriage in 2012. They live in Baraboo, WI with their 2 cats, Catherine de Medici and Diane de Poitier, named from their first visit to the Chateau de Chenonceau in Loire Valley, France on a cold January afternoon.

In 2023 they conducted their first two successful tours—one to Loire Valley France and the second to Germany Christmas markets.
